Championship brand billiard cloth is our number one selling fabric for the average home player and also our commercial clients. Championship offers premium performance billiard fabrics at surprisingly affordable prices. Championship is a complete line of Worsted, Woolen, and Specialty Fabrics in over 30 decorative colors. Simonis a European billiard cloth manufacturer, has been making world famous cloth in their factory in Verviers, Belgium since 1680. The smooth, flat surface of Simonis worsted cloths do not shed (release random short fibers from the weave) or pill (the bunching of the short fibers on the play surface). This cloth is faster, and we recommend it for the very serious player as well as for some 9 ft. pool tables because of the increased ball speed and distance Simonis felt produces. For the typical player the advantages are not as noticeable, and we recommend the excellent and less expensive Championship felt instead.
